The United States and Ukraine have signed a landmark agreement establishing the United States–Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, a joint initiative aimed at mobilizing capital for Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction, economic recovery, and strategic transformation following Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.
Signed by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko, the agreement lays the legal and operational foundation for a limited partnership between the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and Ukraine’s State Agency for Support of Public-Private Partnership.
