Administration Expresses Commitment to Unilateral Controls

The Clinton administration has shown its commitment to industry's agenda on export control policy by relaxing outdated control levels and rationalizing the export license approval process. Yet, it still hasn't warmed up to the industry position on a critical issue in a year when Congress is reviewing the Export Administration Act: unilateral controls.
