Appropriations Law Extends AGOA and Haiti Trade Preferences for One Year

President Trump has signed into law the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026 (H.R. 7148), enacting a year-end funding package that also advances several trade provisions backed by House Ways and Means Committee Republicans. Among the enacted measures are one-year extensions of two U.S. preference programs that had expired in late 2025.
