Boeing Settles Munitions Case for $3.8 million

In a wide-ranging settlement with the State Department, Boeing resolved 110 government charges that it had offered munitions technology to Australia in contract discussions for Airborne Early Warning and Control Programs. Although Boeing never followed through on the offers, State alleged that the company's discussions alone violated munitions export regulations.
