BXA Eases Controls on Exports of Chemical Mixtures and Trace Chemicals

On March 24, the Commerce Department's Bureau of Export Administration (BXA) announced that it will ease export restrictions on chemical mixtures that contain small amounts of chemical weapons precursors. The change dismantles a confusing regulatory scheme for chemical mixtures that bedeviled U.S. chemical companies.
