Domestic critical-minerals push paired with Indo-Pacific finance blitz

The Energy Department has opened a new $500 million funding round for U.S. critical-minerals processing, battery-materials manufacturing and recycling, as the Trump administration used the Indo-Pacific Energy Security Ministerial and Business Forum in Tokyo to showcase a broader allied financing and supply-chain campaign spanning critical minerals, LNG, nuclear energy and related infrastructure.
