Deficit Widens Sharply in November as Exports Fall and Imports Rise

The Census Bureau and Bureau of Economic Analysis  reported Thursday that the U.S. goods and services trade deficit expanded significantly in November 2025, reversing the prior month’s narrowing. The deficit increased to $56.8 billion, up $27.6 billion from a revised $29.2 billion in October.
