Scholars Dispute Cox Findings

The Cox report hit the streets last May amid a near conspiracy of favorable media attention and praise from U.S. government bureaucrats and lawmakers. Seven months later, a group of Stanford University academics produced a report arguing the other side of the equation. The result is an elegant critique of the report's rush to judgment on U.S. export controls.
