Thompson, GAO Slam Clinton Computer Decontrol

Two weeks before America set back its clocks for daylight savings time, Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) appealed for a greater step back in time for computer controls. With a nod from the General Accounting Office, Thompson attacked the departed Clinton administration for too aggressively liberalizing computer controls in its final year in power.
