UK Decontrols Mass-Market Encryption Hardware & Software

While the U.S. holds the line on mass-market encryption products, its most hardy export control ally is loosening its tourniquet. With the introduction of an Open General License (OGEL) for mass-market encryption, the UK government is recognizing trends that haven't yet occurred to Washington's national security elite.
