Taiwan Trade Deal: Lower Duties for Investments in US

A new trade and investment agreement between the U.S. Department of Commerce and Taiwan grants Taipei lower and more predictable U.S. tariffs in exchange for large-scale Taiwanese investment in American manufacturing, particularly semiconductors.
