US Announces New Canadian Exemptions for Military Exports

The State Department recently completed a regulation that will allow U.S. companies to make certain shipments to Canada without having to secure a munitions export license. The rules, though, place U.S. companies in the novel position of functioning, essentially, as State Department licensing officers.
