Lawmakers Press SEC On Retirees' China Investment Risk

House China Committee Chair John Moolenaar (R-MI) and Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), who leads the Senate Special Committee on Aging, sent letters to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) requesting an urgent briefing on the risks posed to American investors by Chinese companies listed on U.S. exchanges.
